2026 Clinic Google Ads Benchmarks: UAE and Gulf edition

A benchmark set drawn from more than 290,000 AED of clinic ad spend we managed in the first half of 2026. These are directional figures from a handful of real accounts, not a survey of the whole market. We would rather give you a few numbers we can stand behind than a big table we cannot.

How to read these

Where these numbers come from

Everything below comes from our own managed medspa and dental accounts in the UAE and Saudi Arabia during 2026. Costs are in AED. Your own numbers will move with your treatment mix, your city, your landing pages, and the season. Where a figure leans on a client's own backend booking data rather than Google alone, we say so, because a benchmark you cannot trace is worth very little.

01Medspa and aesthetics

Cost per booking, from our managed accounts

The UAE and KSA differ sharply, so a single blended number hides the real story. Saudi bookings cost more and moved less, which is a treatment mix and demand difference, not a management failure. The inquiry to booking rates are measured on the client's own backend across WhatsApp inquiries, and they range from 42% to 76% depending on market and treatment.

02Dental

Cost per acquisition, from our managed accounts

Dental cost per acquisition sits far above medspa cost per booking because the cases are worth far more, so a 213 AED consultation for a TMJ patient is cheap relative to the treatment value. Cost per acquisition alone tells you little without the case value behind it.

03Channels and the booking rate

01

WhatsApp, calls, and forms

  1. WhatsAppPrimary
  2. Phone callsSecond
  3. Web formsDistant third

In our managed Gulf clinic accounts, WhatsApp is the primary inquiry channel by a wide margin, with phone calls second and web forms a distant third. This is the single biggest reason a clinic account in this region needs WhatsApp click to chat tracked as a first class conversion. If your account counts only form fills, it is blind to most of your real inquiries. We have not published a precise percentage split because it varies by clinic and we will not invent a tidy number, but the direction is consistent across every Gulf account we run: build for WhatsApp first.

02

The booking rate that matters most

WhatsApp inquiries that became a booked appointment

The most useful benchmark we have is not a cost. It is a conversion. On our managed aesthetics accounts, the share of WhatsApp inquiries that became a booked appointment ranged from 42% to 76% depending on market and treatment, measured on the client's own backend. That single figure is why cost per booking, rather than cost per click or cost per inquiry, is the number we build accounts around. If your inquiry to booking rate is far below this, the leak is often in response time and booking flow rather than in the ads, and that is worth checking before you spend more on media.

04Seasonality

What changes in Ramadan and summer

Clinic demand in the Gulf is not flat across the year, and pacing budget as if it were is a common and expensive mistake. In our accounts the April to June quarter of 2026 was the strongest booking period on record for our featured aesthetics client, with UAE bookings up 36% and KSA bookings up 40% against the previous quarter. Demand tends to build ahead of holidays and events and to shift during Ramadan and the peak summer travel weeks. We pace budget to that curve, widening spend into strong booking windows and holding back when demand softens, rather than spending a flat daily amount and running dry at the wrong moment.

Methodology note

These figures are drawn from our own managed medspa and dental accounts in the UAE and Saudi Arabia across the first half of 2026, representing more than 290,700 AED of clinic media spend. All costs are in AED. Cost, inquiry, and booking figures come from the Google Ads accounts, and the inquiry to booking rate is measured on the client's own backend across WhatsApp inquiries.
